(a) The candidate applying for the Aliah University Admission Test must be an Indian.
(b) The individual belonging to a state also significantly matter for taking admission to Aliah University. According to the official documents, candidates applying under General Quota must be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years.
(c) Students belonging to states other than West Bengal must apply under OS (Other State) quota.

Examination Type: The Aliah University Admission Test is a multiple choice questions-based examination.
(I) Total Number of Questions: The AUAT Exam paper consists of only 100 MCQ questions.
(II) Question Type: The Aliah University Admission exam for various undergraduate, post-graduate and Bachelor of Education program offer multiple-choice or objective-based paper.
(III) Number of Sections: As per the official document of the entrance exam, the examination paper comprises total of two parts: (A) and (B)
(IV) Mode of Exam: The Mode of the AUAT entrance test is conducted offline. In laymen’s words, it is held in a pen-and-paper format.
(V) Duration: The institute conducts an entrance test for 90 minutes for UG/MM courses, whereas, for PG courses, the examination is held for 120 minutes.
(VI) Total Marks: This multiple-choice entrance exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.
(VII) Syllabus: Since the AUAT exam is conducted for various UG & PG programs, there is no specific syllabus. You will have to prepare for the entrance as per your discipline.
(VIII) Medium: The Aliah University Admission Entrance test’s question paper will be made available in only the English language except for the language paper.
What is the Marking Scheme for AUAT Exam?
To narrow down the number of participants for undergraduate and post-graduate programs, this entrance exam is taken for a total of 100 marks. Talking the same, it has three portions, each of which has a distinct amount of questions. For UG/MM courses, Part A will contain 10 MCQs (2 marks each), and Part B will contain 40 MCQs (2 marks each). Whereas for PG courses, PART A will contain 25 MCQs (1 mark each), and Part B will contain 75 MCQs (1 mark each).
(a) Marking Scheme for Correct Answer: In UG/MM courses, each correct MCQ answer, either from section A or Section B, will offer 2 marks. Whereas, in PG courses, each correct answer, either from Part A & Part B, will give one mark.
(b) Negative Marking: There will be no deduction of marks for incorrect answers.
(c) Un-attempted Questions: According to the official advertisement, no marks will be deducted for not attempting questions.

Step 1-Registration:
The very first step that comes while applying for the test is the registration step. Students will have to register themselves. For this process, visit the official website of Aliah University i.e. aliah.ac.in and open the link provided ( AUAT Examination 2023).

Step 2- Uploading Documents (Scanned Photograph & Signature)
Upon completing registration, you can leap over to the next step, which is uploading documents. Your documentation, including your signatures, photos, and identity proof, will be submitted as scanned copies.
The scanned images must be in an appropriate size and format (File-Type: jpg, jpeg, png). Always keep in mind that pictures shouldn’t be Polaroid, monochrome, fake, or damaged.

(b) Scanned signatures must be in 300X100 pixels
Once you are done uploading the scanned images, you can click on the submit button and come to the next step, which is selecting preferred programs.
Step 3- Select Your Desired Discipline
In this phase of the application form-filling process, you can choose your specific discipline. You can select three different programs by giving your desired programme first priority. However, candidates can select the programs only when they are fulfilling the qualifications requirement.
Step 4- Select Examination Centre
In this step, the exam venue that is most convenient for the participants can be selected and marked. The applicant must choose two test locations in order of preference.

How to Download AUAT Exam Admit Card?
The admit card is a crucial piece of documentation while taking an entrance exam. You may already know that students won’t be able to enter the testing facility without it.
Anyone who successfully completes their application within the deadline can receive their hall ticket from AUAT’s official website. Usually, the controlling authority of the examination publishes the hall ticket just 1-2 weeks prior to the examination. The applicants must be aware that the authority will not send their admit card by speed post or email; you will have to download the admit card from the official website only.
The candidates are recommended to print their hall tickets on coloured picture paper from the official website (https://www.aliah.ac.in/). Applicants can obtain their admit cards by carrying out the following steps:

(b) When you open the home page of Aliah University, you will get a link referring to the AUAT exam 2023. You just need to click on the link. It will direct you to a new page where you will have to enter some credentials

(e) You must take two printouts of the admit card for your convenience.
How to Download AUAT Result?
Only the official website will let participants access their results. The result of the Aliah University Admission Test is declared in the form of a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidate in the AUAT exam. In order to download your result, you must complete these steps:
(a) Visit the AUAT’s official page.

(c) You need to enter your email address, password, and the required Captcha in order to log in to the result page.
