What are Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEE Exam?

For All BTech Programs

Nationality:

(a) The aspiring students willing to participate in the SRMJEEE Exam must be either an Indian resident, or NRI, or holder of a PIO or OCI card (issued by the Government of India).

(b) As per the advertisement for SRM JEE Exam, the NRIs & holders of PIO or OCI cards (issued by the Government of India) would have to apply for the SRMJEEE test under the International student category [the applicants must not have taken SRMJEEE (UG)].

Qualification:

(a) Candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination from a recognized board of education (CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.)

(b) The individuals who have completed intermediate education should have secured a minimum of 55-60% of aggregate marks in the major subjects

(c) In their 12th schooling, they should have studied the major subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry/biology/biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Business Studies / Agriculture / Information Technology/ Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics.

(d) International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects in any International schools within India.

Appearing:

SRMJEEE Exam Application Form

The SRMJEEE exam application form is submitted online, and the process of submitting the form is relatively similar to other online entrance exam forms. To fill out the application with ease, applicants must possess all the necessary requirements beforehand.

In order to apply for the SRMJEEE Entrance Exam, you must first register on the official website. Then after, you will have to fill in the remaining part of the application form. Applicants who are planning to take the SRM Joint Engineering entrance exam can follow these steps to apply for the application form:

Step 1: Registration

Visit the official website of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology to register for the SRMJEEE Exam. It is the foremost step for applying for the application form. Here you will have to insert the details such as email address, phone number, name, etc.

With this process, you will get registration credentials which will have several times of use in future.

Step 2: Filling in Personal & Academic Details

Once you complete the registration, you will have to jump to fill out personal and other details. You, as an applicant, will require to insert details like your father’s name, address, category (if any case), academic details, and several others.

Step 3: Uploading Images & Documents

 While applying for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Test application form, you will also require to upload your photos, signature, and other relevant documents. Considering its importance, the regulatory authorities won’t entertain your application if they find any inconsistency. Therefore, an image’s size and format must be appropriate ( jpg, jpeg, or png file).

Step 4: Payment

The most crucial part of completing the application form comes as the last step. Your application will not be processed if the application fee is not paid. As a result, you are required to pay the application fee that has been set by the regulating body. The SRM JEE Exam application form fee will be paid through internet banking/credit card/debit card.

Payment Through DD (Demand Draft)

After completing the process of filling out details, the applicant has to submit the details of the Demand Draft.

The DD for Rs.1100 has to be drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. The participants must mention their name & address on the reverse of DD.

The filled Application form, along with the Demand Draft, has to be sent to “The Director, The Directorate of Admissions, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu – 603203”.

Applicants must ensure that applications should be received within the stipulated date. If applications are received after the due date, they will not be accepted.

Step 5: Slot Booking

For the SRMJEEE Exam, the applicants must book a test centre, a date, and a time window. Moreover, the first person to arrive will be given priority when scheduling a slot. Candidates should be aware that without a slot reservation, an admit card cannot be issued.

SRMJEEE Entrance Test Admit Card

The governing body will provide the admit card to only those applicants who successfully completed their application. If participants have made a mistake or missed a step, they won’t be able to use their hall ticket. Furthermore, those kids won’t be allowed to take the admission exam.

Students who correctly filled out the application form and did not submit any incorrect information can download the hall ticket from the official website. The procedures to download your SRMJEEE entrance hall ticket are as follows:

(a) Visit the official website of SRM university. You will get a link there to download the hall ticket

(b) You must be sure that you have submitted the details correctly in all respect because admit card will be issued for those candidates who have provided all the details correctly.

(c) You can click on the link provided on the official website. Upon clicking the URL, it will direct you to a page from which you will download admit card.

(d) The hall ticket shall contain your name, photo, address, address of the Test Centre allotted and the date and time of examination.

SRMJEEE Exam Result /Rank List

The controlling authority releases a merit list/result on the basis of marks secured in the examination. If students are able to make their name on the merit list, they would only then proceed to the next step, including counselling and securing a seat in the university.
