Students aspiring to study BArch should have a National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) scorecard. Whereas candidates wishing to join MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Science (Paramedical), and B.Sc. in nursing courses must have decent NEET marks.

What are the Eligibility for GCET Exam?
You, as a candidate, who wishes to join any program from this GCET entrance exam, are required to meet all the standard qualifications. The eligibility for different courses can vary, so it is always advised for the participants to check the essential qualifications from the official website. However, in general, I have compiled the requirements for this GCET entrance exam, which could help you anyway:
For Engineering Courses:
(a) You, as an applicant, must have completed your intermediate examination from a recognized board of education.
(b) You should have a better understanding of the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and also English.
(c) In fact, these above-mentioned subjects should be compulsory subjects in your 10+2 schooling.
(d) Candidates belonging to the general category should have secured at least 45% of aggregate marks.
(e) For the SC/ST/PH candidates, it is required to have at least 40% of aggregate marks.
For BArch Programme
(a) It is a must for the candidates to have completed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Mathematics as the major subject.
(b) Applicants belonging to the general category must have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate, while SC/ST/OBC candidates, they are required to have obtained at least 45% marks
(c) The participating institutes at GCET Counselling demand a NATA entrance scorecard for the BArch course.
For BHMS and AHS Programme
In order to pursue these courses, they must have completed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations. Also, you should have studied Physics, Chemistry & Biology as the main subjects.
Essentially, aspirants belonging to the general category should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks, whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH candidates must obtain at least 40% of aggregate marks.
For B. Sc. Nursing Programme
(a) You, as an aspirant of BSc nursing, must obtain a 12th certificate or equivalent examinations certificate from a recognized board. Most importantly, individuals must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as their major subjects.
(b) Applicants in a general category must secure at least 45% of aggregate marks, while for SC/ST/OBC category, they should have garnered 40% of aggregate marks.
For B. Pharma Programme
Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and English as compulsory subjects.
Apart from the above subject, candidates should have an additional subject in Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Science.
What is GCET Exam Pattern?
Knowing the examination pattern for any entrance examination is quite important for the aspirant. The GCET Exam is no different. If you are aspiring to study professional engineering and pharmacy courses through the GCET examination, you should have knowledge about it.
Essentially, it helps you to make excellent scores and marks on the entrance test. So, let’s examine each component of the Goa Common Entrance Exam Pattern in detail:
(I) Total Number of Questions: The Goa Common Entrance Test question paper given to the participants shall consist of a total of 225 questions.
(II) Type of Question: The GCET entrance examination conducted for Engineering and pharmacy is an objective or multiple-based paper.
(III) Number of Sections: The GCET test question paper has been arranged in only one section.
(IV) Examination Mode: This entrance exam is administered in various cities throughout Goa in pen and paper mode. More so, the GCET exam is a three-paper examination.
(V) Duration: The statutory Board administers the GCET exam for 6 hours ( 120 minutes for each paper, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). What is the Marking Scheme for GCET Exam?
This entrance test is conducted for 275 marks to shortlist the candidates for Engineering and Pharmacy programme. The GCET entrance test consists of three papers, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with equal weightage each. Below is a detail about the marking scheme:
(a) Marking Scheme for Correct Answer: 1 mark (+1) will be awarded for each correct answer in every paper.
(b) Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for wrong and multiple selecting answers.
(c) Un-attempted Questions: According to the official advertisement, no marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.

What is the Syllabus for GCET Exam?
The GCET Exam consists of those subjects which you have studied in your intermediate schooling. Essentially, it includes major topics of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. You can begin the process of uploading scanned images once you have entered all the necessary academic and other information. How to Download GCET Admit Card?
The admit card for the GCET exam will be issued by the regulating authority to those applicants who have successfully completed their application form. The participants who missed any steps or made any mistake will not be able to avail of their hall ticket. More so, those students will be barred from participating in the entrance test.

(d) Click on the link provided. Upon clicking on the URL, it will direct you to a page wherein you will have to provide login credentials.
(e) Upon providing and submitting the details, you will get a page in PDF format. It will include the candidates’ name, roll number, exam date and time, contact details, photograph and signature, and venue for the exam.
(f) If you find any discrepancy in your hall ticket, you must contact promptly to the concerned department.
(g) If all the provided details are ok, then you may print your GCET Exam 2022 Admit card.
